Who Are We?

AHMET KOCABIYIK
I was born in 1966 in the village of Topallı (Aladağ, Adana). I
completed primary school in my village, secondary school at Adana
Yavuzlar Secondary School, and high school at Adana Karşıyaka High
School. I initially won the Chemistry Department at Middle East
University in Ankara but had to leave due to dormitory issues. In
my second attempt, I was admitted to Istanbul University, Faculty
of Forestry (1985) and graduated in 1999. I completed my military
service as a reserve officer at Istanbul Tuzla Infantry School and
then served as a second lieutenant in Ankara’s Yıldırım Region
(1990–1991).
I started my career in 1992 as the Forest Management Chief in
Gömbe (Kaş, Antalya) and worked continuously for 20 years in
natural cedar forests. I married in Kaş and the SEBANA Project
emerged in 2006. In 2012, I was assigned as an engineer to the
Finike Forest Management Directorate for my children’s education.
In 2015–2016, I served as deputy director at the Niğde Forest
Management Directorate and later returned to Finike. In 2020, I
started as Gödene Forest Management Chief at Kumluca Forest
Management Directorate. As of 2025, I serve as Chief of Söğütcuma.

Mustafa Eskiler
I was born in 1976 in Şanlıurfa, where I completed my primary, secondary and high school education. I studied at Akdeniz University, Department of Natural Gas Heating and Sanitary Installations. I specialized in tourism and hospitality. I also studied public relations at Anadolu University and graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Department of Public Administration. I am a public policy analysis specialist with 30 years of knowledge in traditional medicine, phytotherapy, natural living, tourism, and food & beverage. I speak English and German.
Our Projects

SEBANA (Love and Peace Monumental Trees):
Monumental trees on the Yuvalıca Plateau will be named after all countries of the world and people of peace and science who have served humanity. Important days (Mother’s Day, Human Rights Day, Valentine’s Day), concepts of love and peace, and notable names from media, art and business will also be included. When realized, people will gather around a “Love Fire,” a “Love and Peace Sapling” will be planted each year, and eco-tourism will be encouraged— delivering messages of nature love, peace and climate awareness from Türkiye to the world. -
SEBHEV (Love and Peace Nursing Homes):
Enabling retirees and the elderly to live productive, peaceful and active lives in rural and natural environments, while creating new living opportunities and contributing to the national economy. -
TORŞEF (Tourism Forest Directorate):
Bringing local and natural resources in rural and forested areas into tourism, branding these areas, and contributing to the economy both domestically and internationally. -
ENBİTSİS (Endemic Plants Monitoring System):
Protecting endemic plants and promoting them to society and the world; contributing to rural areas and the economy through controlled visits. -
ÜRGENÇ (Productive Youth):
Reviving rural villages with youth; increasing agricultural and animal production to achieve economic and social development. -
ÜRSAT (Produce and Sell):
Turning our country’s resources into production in the best way, branding what is produced, and offering it to domestic and foreign markets to provide economic and social power. -
ÜRTDOS (Direct Sales from Producer to Consumer):
Eliminating intermediaries between producer and consumer to deliver agricultural and animal products to people more cheaply and freshly. -
DEVORİŞ (State–Citizen Joint Cooperation):
Bringing idle savings into the economy through state–citizen cooperation; providing safe investment, employment and dividends through partnership. -
KİMSOL (Be the Protector of the Lonely):
Providing material and moral support to the lonely and needy; increasing social sensitivity and strengthening solidarity with local leaders. -
KALBOL (A Golden Bracelet on Your Arm):
Providing young people with a profession from an early age; developing education and employment in line with national needs.
